Road Racing is organized by The Road Racers of Atlantic Canada. This wheel-to-wheel racing series is run under the sanctioning of Atlantic Region Motor Sport and ASN Canada FIA.

HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING EDUCATION

High performance driving education (HPDE) events are regularly organized by a variety of organizations including the Atlantic Sports Car Club, Maritime High Performance Drivers Club, BMW Club Atlantic and the Acadia Region Porsche Club of America.

These sessions offer a variety of different levels of driving education from beginners to the track to advanced wheel-to-wheel driving techniques. Check the calendar and respective organizations for more info on their school events!

LAPPING DAYS

Lapping days (or Track Days) are a way to take your daily driver onto the track for a taste of high speed driving. Lapping Days are often organized by the Atlantic Sports Car Club, Atlantic Formula Racing Association and the Maritime High Performance Driving Club. Check the calendar and respective organizations for more info on their lapping events!

SOLO RACING

Solo racing at AMP comes in one of two forms, Auto Slalom and Time Attack.

Auto Slalom events consist of a course of highly technical turns and driving challenges laid out in pylons throughout the course. Cars travel the course one at a time attempting to make the quickest time.

RX8-Turn5Time Attack is a timed contest which allows anyone with an approved vehicle to experience the thrills of competing on Atlantic Canada’s premier road course, without the hazards of wheel to wheel racing. Although multiple cars may be on the track at once this is NOT a racing event. Cars are spaced out so that they may not even see each other. It’s just you, your car and the racetrack. Put down your best time and see how you compare against other competitors.

All slalom and Time Attack events at AMP are conducted by the Atlantic Sports Car Club.
